The benefits of the DMA Slides are now combined with the benefits of microtiter plates. The DMA-Plate-One holds one DMA-Slide. This improves its feasibility and handling and you can fit the DMA Technology in any kind of instrument that holds microtiter plates. This includes liquid dispensers, microscopes and plate readers as well as incubators.


The DMA-Plate-One can be handled by automated systems and robotic arms. This makes the DMA-Plate-One optimal for automated workflows. Same as for the DMA-Slide you can choose carrier, coating and pattern to create a DMA-Plate that fits your needs.

Carriers

Standard-Glass-Slide "G"

This substrate is used for standard chemical and biological work.


ITO-Glass-Slide "I"

Conductive and IR-reflective properties of the additional indium tin oxide (ITO) coating make AQUARRAY‘s Droplet Microarray compatible with applications such as on-chip MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry or IR spectroscopy.

 

Coatings

Type "np"

A surface compatible with aqueous media. This coating is ideal for cell culture applications. The static water contact angle of the superhydrophobic borders have a value of > 158°. The hydrophilic areas have a static water contact angle of < 10°.


Type "dd"

A surface compatible with both aqueous and organic solutions. The static water contact angle of the omniphobic borders have a value of > 108°. The omniphilic areas have a static water contact angle of < 40°.
